A cold front just east of Bass Strait will continue moving east today. A high pressure system over eastern South Australia will move rapidly east today, extending a ridge south over Victoria before moving over the NSW coast by the evening. The high will move over the Tasman Sea during Friday as a low pressure trough forms over the Bight, with northerly winds strengthening across Victoria. The trough is forecast to enter southwestern Victoria on Saturday before moving slowly east across the remainder of the State during the rest of the weekend.

Winds west to northwesterly 15 to 20 km/h tending north to northwesterly 20 to 30 km/h during the day. Daytime maximum temperatures around 17.

Partly cloudy. High (80%) chance of showers in the southwest, medium (50%) chance elsewhere. Winds north to northwesterly 25 to 35 km/h shifting south to southeasterly 15 to 20 km/h during the evening. Overnight temperatures falling to between 14 and 17 with daytime temperatures reaching the mid to high 20s.

Cloudy. Very high (90%) chance of rain. Heavy falls possible in the south. Light winds becoming south to southwesterly 15 to 25 km/h during the morning. Overnight temperatures falling to around 11 with daytime temperatures reaching between 15 and 22.
